We were so fortunate this year to be able to have our families over to our house for Thanksgiving. (Our families were also very kind to brave my first attempt at hosting.) It was a great day...the kids had so much fun playing together, the men enjoyed watching some football, and the ladies had fun chatting over martinis and helping me in the kitchen. Jack spoiled his dinner on Aunt Emmie's pumpkin cookies, and poor Marsy was all tuckered out by nap time from running laps through the house. I was amazed at how much more I was able to enjoy this Thanksgiving than my last, and could not have asked for better company to surround me and my mom. There's certainly no doubt about it, we are very blessed and have much to be thankful for!
