Originally we had planned to spend the morning at the park, but the forecast called for rain all day. What better way to spend a rainy day than to try to take two kids to the mall, right? Jack and Maren are both in need of Fall clothes, and unfortunately, Maren needs to be with me to try jeans on when I buy them. I took Jack by The Cookie Factory at the beginning of our trip and told him he could pick out a cookie when we left if he could be a "good shopper." Though he was a "good shopper" (and only had to make two trips to the potty), we left with no clothes and a cookie with more sprinkles than there were pouring from the sky outside. Oh well, I guess it filled our rainy morning up and a little bribery never hurt anyone. (Milo enjoyed eating all the leftovers off the floor too!)
